With a pale straw hue, this wine exudes sophistication and vibrancy. Aromas of honeycomb, Meyer lemon, and white peach invite you in, while the dry, crisp palate reveals layers of citrus blossom, white melon, and Granny Smith apple. The finish is clean, fresh, and beautifully refreshing.
Medium straw in color, the 2023 Carneros Chardonnay opens with aromas of lime, orange blossom, honeydew melon, and a hint of freshly split wood. The palate offers classic Carneros flavors of Golden Delicious apple and peach, layered with notes of kiwi, melon, and wildflower honey. The mouthfeel is resonant and high-toned, striking a perfect balance between richness and elegance, with remarkable intensity. Drink from 2025-2035.
Aromas of unctuous peach nectar, blossom, juicy pear, and apricot invite you in. The palate is rich and robust, featuring layers of flaky pie crust and ripe peach balanced by a signature salinity. Vibrant and balanced, this wine is incredibly fun to drink.
The 2021 Estate Cuvée stands as a testament to our unwavering dedication to crafting a wine that epitomizes excellence, expression, and perfect balance. Meticulously created from the finest lots of each vintage, this cuvée is a true celebration of uniqueness, capturing the essence of our estate every year. Unlike wines focused on a single varietal, our Estate Cuvée embraces variability, allowing the composition to evolve significantly from one vintage to another. This approach ensures that each year’s blend reflects the captivating and compelling lots that emerge from our estate. Only when a vintage showcases its utmost potential for quality do we curate the components of this extraordinary wine. By discarding varietal restrictions, our singular objective is to create a symphony where the whole harmoniously transcends the individual parts, offering an experience that is truly captivating.
The wine is visually stunning with a very dark, almost opaque purple center that bleeds into a bright garnet rim. While unmistakably new world, the nose is dominated with the non-fruit aromas of black olive, rosemary, black tea leaves and dark forest floor. In the mouth there are flavors of black currant, red plum, black cherry and kalamata olive. All classic markers of Alexander Valley and Clone 6 Cabernet. The wine finishes with both medium plus tannin and medium plus acidity which indicates a wine that will age. Incredibly well-integrated wood for a wine this young provides a modest pedestal for the balanced flavors above.
Deep purple in color with striking violet hues, this wine opens with brilliant aromas of ripe plum and sweet violet. The palate unfolds with bold flavors of black currant and blueberry, accented by a subtle touch of clove. Structured tannins provide balance and backbone, while a pleasant lift through the midpalate adds freshness and elegance to the finish.
